www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/guides/guide-display/-/VOCMGATEQUY9/ref=cm_bg_guides/102-9984220-5484969It's a list of all of disney's feature animated films in order, with pictures, up to the year 2004. It's weird to look at it. It seems like they come in chunks of good and bad films, and when you see the string that led up to The Little Mermaid, it's no wonder why disney animation almost shut down in the 80's. For some reason you feel like the Disney Legacy was so much bigger until you see it on one page like this.

Adrian this is great! the sad thing is I want so many of those DVDs...but I can't get them!@#$% I can't stand their stupid vault crap. I know little mermaid will come out next year, and I think 101 dalmations comes out the following year..
And I always forget the rules for disney's "edition" stuff. so all the highest-grossing most significant films become "Platnum edition" I think..(Little Mermaid will be out as Platinum edition next year) and the stuff under that (not as significant and less popular films) become "special editions" .. and the stuff below that become "Gold classic" collection, and the stuff that are even more unpopular than that just comes out with no edition name to it right? or are there completely no rules like this?
does anyone know when Junglebook or Lady and the Tramp comes out?

I think that Lady and the Tramp will come out in spring 2006, which is totally sweet, I'm so excited about that one.

Adrian - That's awesome! When I was in Middle school I remember Disney Adventures had the list in one of their magazines and I was determined to get them all on VHS tape. Now I have to do it on DVD. And DVD is cool, but their always coming on with new editions, and its frustrating. And yeah I'm totally excited about Little Mermaid and Lady and the Tramp. Those are two of my favorites. Lady and the Tramp is in super widescreen and that's gonna be awesome on DVD! So who has the most?(I bet its Heidi.... or Nick. !) These are the ones I have so far: Fantasia Dumbo Bambi Sleeping Beauty Beauty and the Beast Aladdin The Lion King Mulan Tarzan Fantasia 2000 The Emperor's New Groove Lilo and Stitch Brother Bear Wow, pretty weak. I should probably buy Cinderella before its gone. Stupid Disney vault.

Did you guys notice how Atlantis is selling for a whopping three dollars and fourty-seven cents? And Home on the Range is selling for $3.99! For some reason that makes me smile!
Hmm... I have Snow White, Fantasia Anthology (this counts as 2 right?), Bambi, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Tarzan, Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis, Lilo and Stitch, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, AND Song of the South! Yeah for 17!
If you're buying DVDs, make SURE you buy the double disc sets of Tarzan, Emperor's New Groove, and Atlantis. Those three are the best Disney DVDs ever.
Also, have you guys heard anything about Lilo and Stitch? They were supposed to release a collector's edition this year...and here it is 2 days away from the end and they haven't released it. I was really excited about that one. I looked online and this is what I read:
"Originally intended to have dual DVD releases like Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Lilo got short-thrifted by a new management mandate enforcing a single-disc release. The result was a single-disc release with more supplements than most single-discs, but far short of a 2-disc Collector's Edition."
Man that makes me angry!!! That's why their DVDs are turning to crap! Because of a lame management mandate! We could have had a Lilo and Stitch DVD that was as cool as the Tarzan one! Disney? Why do you make me hate you?

Heidi - Wow, that Lilo and Stitch business is really lame. The Tarzan and Emperor's New Groove DVDs are awesome! Man if Atlantis is only $3.47 I should totally buy it.
Overall Disney needs to just stop being so lame.

Jen! Don't buy the $3.47 one. That's the single disc version. You gotta get the double disc one if you're going to buy Atlantis!

Robots!!? Barf!! Well I found the Atlantis special edition on Amazon used for $10 dollars! woo! I went ahead and ordered it. It'll probably come just about when I'm heading back to California. I'm pretty psyched. I didn't realize they made one of those uber cool DVDs for Atlantis. I thought it was only Tarzan and ENG.
