Welp, Court called us at like 10:15 on Saturday asking if we wanted to go see March of the penguins at 11:00. Ed and I went from sleep to ready in 15 minutes. Are you impressed. Well I am. Ok, so the movie was really cool. Its the best thing I've seen since Cinderella man. It was beautiful and funny, and sad. Very engrossing for a nature documentary. So amazing what these penguins do, and filmed so so beautifully. I recommend all you guys see it. Stop seeing Fantastic Four and The Island and whatever else nonsense is out there are go see a simple little movie that will move you. Yeah, do it!

My faith in movies this summer has plummeted to an all time low. Batman was amazing, but nowhere near enough to save the rest of the lot. I think this is the first time I'm more interested in seeing documentaries than normal features. I wanna see this and murderball, which is supposed to be friggin awesome. Also, was it just me, or did I see a CG scene of penguins in the movie (based off of the trailer)?

I don't know if there's CG in this or not. It would piss me off if there was. Such cheating bastards! The only stuff that may have been CG was the underwater stuff, but I hope it wasn't. It seems so stupid to put CG penguins in a penguin docutmentary. ARGH!
Also I just realized I put this in Animation Related and not Films. I guess if there are CG penguins in this thing I wasn't to far off the mark. haha!

My family tried to go see this today at the spur of the moment but we were 20 minutes late so we didn't. Hopefully a little later this week!

Jen, you dumb broad, this is the animation related board. LOL I don't think there is any CG footage, it is a documentary, not a mockumentary. Those underwater footages are amazing, it does look surreal but it may be because we don't see penguins swimming underwater very often. BTW, we bumped into sean outside the lodge lawn. That guy is busy! He went to Hong Kong and just got back from New York. You guys have to hear his comic con story, he hanged out with Andy and Shane. HILARIOUS STORIES!!! For those that still think Andy is a quiet man... you have no idea.

Sean was with Andy and Shane and bouch of other people at the marriot hotel next to the con. Sean got hungry and ran to a subway to get a sandwich. Everyone got pissed off at Sean 'cause they wanted to go to the con. While they were all making Sean feel guilty, suddenly Andy just slam the coke out of Sean's hand, took his sandwich as if he was going to throw it away then tried to pick Sean up. ~?! that's not the andy i know!
